Just download and run Graze's Monke Mod Manager ( the one at https://github.com/The-Graze/MonkeModManager ) and use that to install BepInEx and Utilla, and any other mods you want to use. Doing that worked for me, first time no problems.
I don't know why you went through the trouble to write out this whole guide when one of your first one-step suggestions works perfectly fine.
Files: ii's stupid menu or whatever it's called .dll, you need to go to mods folder and drop the file in the folder (don't use banana os or something that just makes everything white, i cannot get rid of smh) then you should be able to run gorilla tag after linking your headset to your computer using virtual desktop (PLEASE USE A ETHERNET CABLE IF AVAILABLE IT'S ANNOYING TO DEAL WITH STUTTERS AND SPENDING LIKE 15 MINUTES TRYING TO OPEN THE GAME OR TRYING TO GIVE YOU AN EPILEPSY ATTACK) it's legit and i scare tiny children using it
