After some testing on the game I obtained a corrupted save and I spent several hours understanding why it was not possible to delete my own savefile and start from a new one.

But I think I have found a solution for anyone with this infinite loading screen (I hope so and I'll let you confirm it in the comments section).

For the fix, nothing could be simpler, I went to a secondary account, launched the game on it and copied the new save from this account (without anything done or any settings changed).

Then I managed to launch the game with this same savefile on my main account.

But you can do it with your own second account if you like !

After that, just go to "Documents>TheRedLantern>Profiles" then in your name account folder.

Before pasting the save, launch the game FIRST then when you see the loading screen, paste the savefile. Now you can close and restart your game. If all goes well, you should be able to get past this horrible loading screen.
