How you should offer your playset.

It would be very helpfull if others might use the following syntax to offer their own playset.
At least provide information about Stellaris game version, so players do not waste time on outdated setups.

With the new version of the Stellaris launcher, one could share their playsets with other players. Just for the fun but also for multiplayer setups that need all those mods sorted in a particular order.


Export playset

- open Stellaris launcher
- open playset
- click on the 'three dots' beside your playset name
- chose Share and download the file to your drive
- upload this name_of_playset.json file at a file hoster on the internet or send the file directly
- copy the link and send it to other players


Share playsets

- send the above mentioned link to your friends
- or post the link here in the comments following the syntax


Import playset

- download the name_of_playset.json file given by mail, link, other source to your drive
- open Stellaris launcher
- in the middle of the launcher, click on the arrows right to the playset section
- at the pop-up choose Import playset
( hint: I needed to have an empty playset chosen before I start importing )
- after importing is done, chose the fresh imported playset
- download possibly missing mods if system doesn't automatically
- activate and play the new playset
