Hello there, West here. So this one is a fun experiment and proof of concept for a shading technique/parametrization on VertexLitGeneric to efficiently mock up PBR shading in a believeable manner, yet not really need duplicated meshes or materials unlike many other addons attempting such.

I have learned some important stuff thanks to this proof of concept, but this shading technique I have developed will only work on Gmod, as it has some parameters that are only here (and the CSGO engine branch), so an SFM equivalent is not completely impossible but I'd need to be extremely clever about it. But I could try anyway if enough people are up to it.

You can do anything you want with it. And while crediting is not required, it is recommended. Now go do good stuff with the model itself and my learnings from it.

• Fully rigged metrocop ragdoll. Includes an early skin used in Half-Life: Alyx - Final Hours. It also has a lot of visual improvements over the Source 2 model.
  
• Experimental shading technique attempting to recreate PBR using VertexLitGeneric... Without using dirty tricks like duplicated materials or meshes. Material files have the commenting about what each thing does for better understanding.
  
• Playermodel version + c_hands. Also NPC version (Named Civil Protection under "Half-Life: Alyx" Tab). Such models have LOD levels, five finger anims "fix".
  
• Zipper jigglebones with a simulation of cloth physics (bottom of the jacket) for an even more believeable model.
  
• Native GlowLib support.
