Combining elemental swords with spells is a great way to earn money ... provided that you use the proper combination. When you find a combination you will get both the buffs provided by the magic cauldron and the spell used, PLUS a 20% bonus! Below, I have cast a Fire spell on a Lava sword. Note that the sword now has the prefix "Great" and indicates the +20% sell price.



The reverse is also true - if you combine opposite elements (such as blizzard and fire), you will get a large penalty to the sell price.

Note that anything cast via the altar does NOT have any influence on the combinations of the cauldron + spell table. Altar away!

I've tested almost every combination against Web and Water and nothing seems to work.

I am still yet to test Death and Thunder on Saint and Magic.
I haven't tested Hell at all, as I still haven't found a scroll.
