Lore

The first Pertamites to secret treasure from the cold unknown did so with only crude hand drills, ramshackle rockets, and grueling resolve. By necessity, these missions were limited to short stents and light loads; mining was exhausting manual work, and Pertamite craft had yet to reach the size and complexity required to persist in a radioactive vacuum.
These operations ultimately evolved into a logistically complex and ruthlessly efficient procedure: dedicated mining craft would be left in a known, predictable orbit, to be serviced, crewed, and emptied through much lighter transport craft. These craft, their crews, and the practice as a whole came to be known as ‘abhigamak.' To those who saw abandoning Pertamite masterworks in such hostile conditions to be heretical at best, they were ‘exiles.’
With the launch of Jatayuvahana, abhigamak activity in the Court came to an inglorious end, the only remnant of a whole ecosystem of commerce now rarely referenced outside of its contribution to the name of the Royal Mint, "Jatayu"vahana.
