This mod aims to provide further information and context to the player about what job is converting X resource into another. This information is only the baseline resource output and inputs and will not show how modifier effect them as that feature is now base game.

Because this mod only effects Job description information, you can use this mod with any UI mod or any other mod really. If there is a mod that adds jobs, this mod will not cover unless I add the information to this mod. If there is a mod you like to see added to this you can leave a request down below the in the comment section.


Reworked job descriptions to inform the player of their baseline inputs and outputs.

Yes you can still earn achievements playing with this mod as it only effects the user interface, no gameplay changes have been made.

The mod is completely save game compatible, you can activate / deactivate the mod without any impact. Works on previous save games as well.


This mod was made based of the old Job Description Mods by Dumuzii & Jacubus who have stopped updating their mods a years ago and so I thought to make a successor mod. Figure it would help players all around with context information. I know newer players will find this mod useful.

There Is only one building I cannot give support, the Cyberdome's jobs (Machine Age Expansion) that cannot be added to this mod because the developers did not give it the proper Desc file line, meaning If I made one for it it would make this mod no longer Ironman compatible as I would have to rewrite the building script for this mod to work with those. Some of the Fallen Empire buildings also have this effect. Everything else should be supported.

@Ray I have been working on update, but I recently had a computer crash, so I been trying to remake a lot of my modding files. I will be able to make a proper update covering all the new features in 4.1 and 4.2 in the future, I just need to get things settled.

Just to give an update to people, I am working on the 4.0 of the mod, but things were changed under the hood so I have to figure out new job strings for things. 4.0 will have its separate mod page when uploaded because difference between v3.14 and 4.0.

Additionally I am waiting for the 4.0 be stabilized, some strings have been updated between patches which causes incompatible issues with things.

The patches dont change how this mod functions, it should work.

The Stellaris launcher is showing this as being made for another version of the game. Even though it lists... (v3.14.15)

@arieviloj It works fine as is, but I need to add the new possible roles for the beastmasters and treasure origin. Ill get around adding those in the next update

This mod still works with the current version of Stellaris with the only jobs missing being the ones added in Cosmic Storms. I will be adding those when I can.
