would be cool if the animation changed match the component being crafted

This might be a weird interaction between paint gun mod and new subpart skin painting feature

Hi, since the mod update, the animation is no longer done.
Am I the only one in this case?

Edit : I repainted the assembler with the mod 'Paint Gun' in its original color (ie: reset the color settings with the base game option - P key and reset option) and then I changed the color and the skin again = now everything works perfectly.

I leave this message, hoping that it can help someone else.

a replace mod would be wonderful^^ :)

@Fvracer_x don't forget the performance, it's frustrating how in Satisfactory you can have hundreds of high-poly fully animated machines while SE slows down with a single armor block
Still I love mods like these, even if my graphics card heats up to 90°C in vanilla

Something we have long needed, more animation. Keen, are you listening ?- SE2 needs a lot more animation than SE.
