Mobile Arctic Research Station ISO habitat

The Mobile Arctic Station 2A is a ISO sized four-person habitat with a radio, generator, a small kitchen area and everything else needed to stay in the arctic/antarctic for around a week. It is the second iteration of the M.A.R.S. program, which despite its name has nothing to do with the planet or even space. Instead of the big, heavy and hard to transport trailer, that also needed several hours of assembly, that was M.A.R.S. 1, M.A.R.S. 2 is a pair of Container-sized, light modules. This reduction in scale meant that they could be transported efficiently onboard the new Nordic-class icebreakers.


To start the generator, simply press the "Generator start/stop" button
To raise the module, press the "Raise platform" button
