The Leviathan Ronin

"Go tame me a leviathan!"
They tried, now they're unionizing.

Ever thought about the samurai that Emperor Tengu sends to tame his leviathans, or how their pearls are acquired? This mod adds a new faction to expand the Kenshi lore by giving some explanation to what happened with these poor samurai sent on suicide missions by their noble lords. Explore the new town of Hilt, located in the middle of Leviathan Coast to discover thier lore, or profit from the chaos that is their war with the leviathans.

Purple Sands is also expanded upon by adding a purple obsessed cult in. A new trade item includes "purple beer," a product of the new purple crops acclimated to arid environments. Purple crops and food are exclusive to "Fluorite," the new (oddly friendly) cultist town located in Purple Sands. The Leviathan Ronin will pay a hefty sum for any of this new purple beer, opening a new trade route for the player to earn a quick buck, and an opportunity to profit by making your own beer.

New items include (obviously) purple crops and food for the Cult of Fluorite, as well as the Nodachi Sun, the Leviathan Ronin's preferred method of dispatching of Leviathans. The Nodachi Sun is a cross between the Nodachi and Falling Sun. It is a lighter weight heavy weapon, sharing stats from both the Nodachi and Falling Sun, with the added speed of a katana.

There's also Leviathan Spikes, a new defensive barrier that, when placed properly, blocks leviathans from entering your base, allowing for the unimpeded use of turrets.

If you are allied with the Flotsam Ninjas, Shek Kingdom, or Anti Slavers, the Leviathan Ronin will agree to ally with you as well, and assist you during raids (only as backup for your other allies, however.)

The Cult of Fluorite (in Purple Sands) will refuse to ally with you. Period.

Blueprints for the purple crops can be found in the Fluorite bars, while blueprints for the Nodachi Sun and Leviathan Spikes can be found in Hilt.
