You'll have to wait a a short while Steam checks all of the files, but it did the trick. However, there is an unfortunate side-effect. This deleted most of my saves. Thankfully, the autosave was still there, and let me back into Mission 10, so I didn't lose progress. And luckily for me, my only lost saves were my quick saves and the Mission Auto-Saves, so yeah, I could go back to any previous mission I wanted, but that wasn't a huge loss. It's short game, and I could keep playing from where I was, so I wasn't that bothered. But do be aware of this.
I haven't played the mission a second time since, but I did start a new game on my other PC, so I am prepared to do a second verify.
Obviously, you could just use the TFD Disc to Install and then play the Game, WITHOUT the Bugs that EA managed to somehow in-still into the Game since its release.
It worked, and imagine, it worked only on "game.exe" on "renegade.exe" did not even with "run as administrator"
