The description says that the meesh grow stronger from bonus HP, but the meesh themselves all have an ability called "absorb dead", which says that the creature will increase in power when standing on a spot with lots of corpses. So does that also accelerate their growth?
I also can't figure out if the starting commander can evolve. I've tried to have him stand on the same spot eating corpses for a lot of turns, but he hasn't gotten bigger yet. He also keeps wandering off so I can't figure out if he actually gets to devour the corpses. And on that note:
I would like for the semi-stupid flag to be removed from your starting commander as it feels a bit jarring for him to go constantly wander off on his own. Love it for the rest of the meeshlings though.
