This asset, an old leather book, might be a great model to use for one (or all) of the volumes of the Revelations of Gla'aki (a fictional multi-volume book invented by British horror author Ramsey Campbell, for his short story The Inhabitant of the Lake, 1964). According to lore, there were originally 11 volumes written by various cultists in Gla’aki’s service between 1800 and 1865, though an abridged 9 volume set was known to be more common, and eventually a 12th volume was added to the full set. Rumors persist of a 13th and even a 14th volume, though the existence of such have yet to be authenticated. Gla’aki is itself a Great Old One associated with the Cthulhu Mythos of H.P. Lovecraft. Further details are being withheld to prevent you going insane.Could make for an interesting alternate version of the Necronomicon, or any other Mythos/evil book.
