Maybe i'm not the only one who didn't knew about this commands, i found them after i already played a few hours.
Some of them are cheats, so you have to know if you want to use them, but you can still get all the achievments, even if you activate them, here is a list, maybe these are not even all commands, but i couldn't find more.
Command list
  • F1 - "High Speed" - Game runs faster, timers are not affected by that, good for farming.

  • F2 - "Assist" - Works only in battle, heals the party completely, while active limits are always available.

  • F3 - "9999" - Attacks from the character will do 9999 dmg. (GFs will do normal dmg)

  • F4 - GF Boost - All GFs you have will be Lv. 100 and have lerned all abilities.

  • F5 - Gil Magic Boost - You will get 99.999.999 Gil (and the Max Gil achievement) and all the magic you got will be raised to 100.

  • Ctrl+R - Resets the game.

I'm not really an RPG guy, but here's a story about this game...

In 1999 my brother borrowed this game for the PS1 and later on he bought it for PC, he completed this game several times. I only completed FF7 on the PS1 but never picked this one up, in the early 2000's in a bored day I decided to give it a go, go on a grand adventure kind of thing.

I started playing, taking my sweet time, talking to everyone, going everywhere and about an hour into the game, the second time you leave the school to the open world if I remember right, I suddenly noticed I had 99,999,999 Gil.

I asked my brother but he didn't had a clue how, he would go on to copy my save file to play the game again with that much Gil, but I never knew how I did it.
I figured I must have activated some sort of secret while I was going back and forward around the school, or maybe the game could have just glitched only to find out, more than 20 years later, that I accidentally pressed the F5 key... well mystery solved.

Cheats? Haa who needs cheats? Oh what am I saying 15 year old me used a Game Shark anyways. FYI Use high speed like for real use high speed.

PEOPLE STILL IN HERE CRYING ABOUT CHEATS LMAO IVE PLAYED THE GAME SINCE I WAS 5 IM NOW 30 IF I WANT TO HAVE FUN AND JUST LIVE THE STORY AGAIN WITHOUT THE GRIND GET OVER IT DON'T LIKE EM DON'T USE EM

I know this is old, but just in case anyone else stumbles on this post, there is a pdf in the game files you can view that tells you what keys do what. Just right-click on the game and browse local files. It's literally called "maual.pdf" and it shows the really weird set up that Square made for this game.

I'm not using any, the game deserve to be enjoyed and tolerated, even the long annoying parts. Part of the experience <3

high speed should speed up everything, i want to speed up battles so i can get on with the story

I'm a psychopath, I just did 118hours without high speed U.U

I knew there were a high speed mode, I just couldn't find the hotkey in the options and gave up... until I found this.

Now, I knew I was a bit of a psycho anyway... Who spend so much time on a 22yo game ?
