Bumping guides would be done by editing the guide itself, from what I've gathered.

Also, you can look at the Revisions tab between Code and Stars to see all the times I updated the gist, including all the typos and errors i fixed because i am room temperature IQ

I'd say that this guide would also need a bump to show it got updated. Maybe a sort of change-log can be used for this and future updates that add to the World Settings? And yeah, real good work with this kind of guidance for making hard and easy enough settings per basic run types.
