HAPPY BETON BRUTAL BIRTHDAY & UPDATE!!!

As you all know, 31st of March 2024, at the Birthday of the BETON BRUTAL, a new free official map called " BETON B-DAY " were added into the game! There are new added features including " wallrun ladder " & grappling hooks! Unfortunately, for unknown reasons, there are no template of this map to use in the editor. My map is there to give a tutorial for getting this template in your editor!

The easiest way to get the full BETON BIRTHDAY map ( + no barrier in practice ) is to download the prepared map. Unzip the map folder from the archive to {YOURUSERNAME}\AppData\LocalLow\JanMalitschek\BetonBrutal\CustomMaps.

" AppData " is a hidden folder. You can access it from the cmd.exe with a simple command: start AppData

You can try the tutorial if you don't like to download something from unknown people.

THE TUTORIAL:

1. Enter BETON BRUTAL template in the editor.

2. Get to any wall as close as possible.

3. Start placing huge objects inside of yourself to clip through the wall and get out of the bounds of the map.

4. Now you're outside of the BETON BRUTAL map.

5. BETON BIRTHDAY map is hidden right next to BETON BRUTAL & BETON BATH maps. You have to search for it, until it appears in front of you.

6. Enter the map and place start sigh anywhere.

ADDITIONAL METHOD:

1. Go into your Steam folder ( should be in C:\Program Files(x86) )
2. Go into steamapps folder. Then locate folder called " workshop ".
3. Go into " content " folder. Then into " 2330500 " folder.
4. Locate folder with the name of " 320814♥♥♥♥ ".
5. Copy this folder with this template C:\{YOUR USERNAME}\AppData\LocalLow\JanMalitschek\BetonBrutal\CustomMaps.
6. Enter the game. if everything was done properly, the map should appears in your local custom maps.
