Minute of Island is an amazing game! I enjoyed it to the last bit. Unfortunately there's some game breaking bug and absolutely no means of restarting chapter - you have to replay it from the beginning 😭
This is my first attempt to create a guide and I hope you'll find it useful.

I hit one of those and decided to make something about it.

This little scripts I wrote is monitoring savefile.moi and if game overwrites it, create backup to the backup directory (also adds date/time to the filename).

To run it you need python3 installed.

You can download it from

Download bat/py file from https://github.com/whoozle/minute-of-islands-savefile-monitor to any directory you want, and run either savefile-monitor.bat or savefile-monitor.py

Save file could be found in "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Studio Fizbin\Minute of Islands\savefile.moi"

Backups would appear in "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Studio Fizbin\Minute of Islands\backup\savefile.YYYY-MM-DD-mm-hh-ss.moi"

If running script/replay is too much hassle for you, you can download zip archive with all the saves from:

1. Quit or exit to main menu.
2. Copy relevant file to savefile.moi.
3. Restart the game / Continue

Save files/backups could be found in "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Studio Fizbin\Minute of Islands\savefile.moi"
