This achievement is bugged for many people including myself. The fixes listed in the Community Hub describe downloading external save files which I didn't want to do, so I'm relieved to have found the following video which worked for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afncmk-l8vE

It requires you go to a specific area where Spiders spawn, and you continuously leave and enter the area to make the Spiders retreat and respawn. Once you do that enough times, the achievement will unlock.

The video was not made by me.

@Kevlar method also works but it is not even necessary to leave the map. You just can go back a bit to make spiders go away.

I found your guide and the fact this achievement is bugged right after finishing that part of the game. Fortunately, this also works on the 3 spiders that ambush you at the start of Planning Plateau. Just exit the map back to Enigma Hill without defeating them. Enter Planning Plateau again and they respawn. Rinse repeat until you get the achievement.
