Delayed Deadlines

Kuvaus
New with 1.1:
  • Supports Shadow of Kerensky campaign.

Background

Delayed Deadlines allows players to take on the five major DLC campaigns at their own pace and not be forced to do it (or ignore it) at the prescribed time. Those who have ongoing campaigns/careers past the default start dates can also use this mod to play the campaigns inline with their current save. However, note that the save must have been created before the DLC's related patch has been installed (released September 3rd 2025 for Shadow of Kerensky) in order for the campaign to be offered to the player. This is true irrespective of when the player actually purchased the DLC.

Configuration

The MutePTs configuration variable is provided to remove the Priority Transmission buttons from the Home Screen once they have been triggered. The default value is False. It can be edited through the game's Options menu (via Mod Options[www.nexusmods.com] support).

The variable can also be edited through the DelayedDeadlines section of the user's Game.ini file:

C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\MW5Mercs\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Game.ini

Credits and Thanks

This mod offers similar capability to BobbertModdert's[www.nexusmods.com] Extended Deadlines[www.nexusmods.com] and ljorder66's[www.nexusmods.com] Updated Extended Deadlines[www.nexusmods.com], but includes support for The Dragon's Gambit, Solaris Showdown, and Shadow of Kerensky DLCs.

Shouldn't need an update as far as I can tell.

Can we get this updated to the new patch, It's an awesome MOD, Thanks a million.

Like I said, not all initial merc encounters get a message from the BH. Only 10 of the 18 by my count. I would need to know if there was a specific encounter that should have resulted in a message but didn't come in.

The 2nd SoK transmission that comes in was done differently from the others. Not sure why so I left it alone to get the new version released quickly. Maybe one of these days I'll actually play through it and see if it makes sense to update.

I'm encountering something similar, sometimes BH wouldn't have a transmission, sometimes he would. I didn't think it was related to this mod because I though it was random.

On an unrelated event, I noticed the 2nd priority transmission in SoK didn't have an extended deadline.

I haven't seen or heard of this before. Not all initial merc encounters have an associated BH message. Was there a specific encounter that you know for certain should have displayed a message?

@Noop. Thanks for this mod, Does its intended purpose, however I came across an issue relating to rival mercs, specifically the first time you meet them. Usually you'd get a message from the BH after the mission giving information about the specific merc band. You no longer receive these after mission messages if you have kestral lancers and rasalhague events queued (Not sure about the others, I was getting the Bounty hunter messages fine before the queued events started). Not sure if this effects anything else within the rival merc system.

No need, it currently works. Tested it in a new save and Kestrel overlapped with Rasalhague when I pushed the timeline.

Does this need to be updated for the most recent hotfix/patch before it will work?

Still work with SoK
