ConVars:

Flame_Light (0-1)

Flame_Light_Advanced (0-1)

Flame_Light_Red (0-255)

Flame_Light_Green (0-255)

Flame_Light_Blue (0-255)

Flame_Light_Range (0-2147483647)

Convars will save.
Convars can only be changed by whoever is running the server.
Yes it works on singleplayer too lol.

Information:

This addon gives fire-entities a dynamic glowing effect. (Using: Dynamic-Lights.)

This addon is coded to be as little performance-consuming as possible.

This addon works for anything fire related, unless it uses a custom fire system. (Don't worry, most mods, such as: "vFire", are compatable.)

The flame light can be disabled and enabled in real time.

The flame light range can be changed in real time.

The addon images were taken with 250 range.

Why am I getting errors?

Why is a disabled fire lighting up?
You can try to enable the "Flame_Light_Advanced" ConVar to fix this issue, but please keep in mind that it isn't perfect, and can both fix or worsen the issue!

Other addons like this already exist!
I have refrained from making a flame light addon for this reason, however I have gotten many requests to make a flame light addon as people have had issues with other flame light addons, which this addon shouldn't have.

Hi, I know it has been while, but I've finally remembered, and had the time to fix it. :steammocking:
Now, here's the thing...
It isn't exactly fixed, as Garry's Mod is very weird to work with. :steamfacepalm:
However, I have added a new ConVar: "Flame_Light_Advanced".
When enabled, it will better detect when a fire is truly active. :steamhappy:
However, it might cause fires to glitch, and always light up. :steamsad:

I wish I could've made it better, but oh well.

Lol I totally forgot, I haven't even played Garry's Mod in what feels like weeks, but sure, if I ever find the time for it, I'll go through my old addons and improve them! :steamthumbsup::steamhappy:

Oh that's interesting, I actually didn't know that!
If I ever learn more about Garry's Mod fire, then I'll see if I can release an update that fixes that. :steamthumbsup::steamhappy:

idk if you know this but the fire lights kinda makes hl2 campagin messy as the lights doesnt turn off when fire is extinguish (example nova prospekt after defeating gunships)
