Stygian Vest Fix

Hello everyone,

This mod was created to address a graphical issue with the Stygian Vest chestpiece, as well as any other item which use the same appearance, such as the Setite and War Court chestpieces.


The issue originates in the material file for the armor mesh; the main culprit appears to be a texture map that was erroneously enabled, which added an odd shadowy effect as can be seen in the before & after images.


By direct edit, the detail map was disabled and two other settings were adjusted to match those of the corresponding leg piece (full details in the Change Notes section). The reason for a direct edit as opposed to a table merger somewhere along the line is for the fix to also function with any mod-added items which use the same mesh. Doing so also keeps the size of the mod very small.

The results should be evident in the before & after.


I don't anticipate Funcom will be touching the material file anytime soon (and if they do, they'll probably fix the issue), so the chance that the mod will need to be updated is very unlikely.
