Elemental Bear Rework
This is a quick mod I put together to overhaul the Elemental Bear unit. After playing with Dead's Kislev Overhaul (A mod that I can highly recommend) I started to desire a more grounded take on some of the more fantastical Kislev units. With that design philosophy in mind, I wanted to change the Elemental Bear from a bear made of ice into something more down-to-earth. If you are playing with Dead's Kislev Overhaul, make sure you play with Katarin, as she's the only one who can get the Elemental Bear.

This mod renames the Elemental Bear and its RoR to the "Great Bear of Ursun", shrinks both considerably to make them closer to the size of a prehistoric cave bear, and turns them into literal, actual bears, not ice bears, though they do have an icy aura and bits of ice poking out of them. Their stats have been reduced somewhat, but to compensate they have a new passive, "Avatar of Ursun", which buffs units around them. Instead of being melee beat sticks, they're (powerful and tanky) support units, designed to bolster the frontlines as living shrines.

New description texts and unit cards have been created to support this rework.

Compatibility
It should be compatible with anything that doesn't affect the Elemental Bear. I don't play with total conversion mods, so I won't be making any compatibility submods for them. You are more than free to, and welcome to do so if you like.

Hello Gorilla i ask you something.
can you make a mode boris ursus transformation to elemental bear?
its size more more big than before. x3 size like a real ursun.

@Papashoulz: That's unfortunate, I haven't been keeping up with Dead's overhaul so he might have changed something on his end with the Elemental Bear.

@sigmars_disciple: An admirable goal for a prospective modder! I'll try and tell you what I'd do - there's a table in Dead's Overhaul called "building_units_allowed_tables", he uses it to restrict units to certain factions. There's an entry for the Elemental Bear that readds it to Katarin's faction- you can add new entries to add it to the other Kislev LLs, as well as any Kislev minor factions you want to have it.

I went ahead and added a line that mentioned the Katarin thing, thanks. That should hopefully clear up any confusion.

Sry, you were too fast with your reply. ;) If you can manage to describe what *exactly* this submod would have to do, maybe one of the users of your mods wants to make it. Sounds like it's not going to be a lot of work at all, although it might still be above my (pretty much non-existing) RPFM skillz <3

As a user, I'd probably love it if your description mentioned the "make sure to play with Katatin if you are using Dead's Kislev overhaul" thing, as like I said it's a quite strong association to using the mod in your text. More of a detail in the grand scheeme of things, of course, but being naturally born nerds it's just another day in paradise I guess xxThanks <3

@sigmars_disciple: Dead's Overhaul keeps the Elemental Bear for Katarin but I don't think any of the other LLs can get it.

I had intended to make a submod that reenabled it for the other factions, but it never came to pass. Maybe someday!

I think one thing could be clarified here... As you mention Dead's Kislev overhaul quite prominently

Will this - if run with Dead's Kislev overhaul together - work as intended? Because I somehow stored in the back of my mind that he gets rid of the Elemental Bear.... But I might be wrong Thanks, brother! <3

Does size change affect their usability? i mean it prolly means less splash, smaller hitbox, its a huge balance changes, no?

Would be happy if it was just reskin, without size change.
