server-side means that everyone on the server, including you, will have the mod work for them. a good example is insight, since it shows information requires it to be installed on the server
in short: client-side if only you want to use the mod, and server-side if you want everyone on the server to use the mod
dunno about that last question though, i think both version should be equally as resource intensive (which is not much i think)
It's maybe a dumb question but what is different between the Server and the Client only version ?
(if we let the obvious fact that the server version need all players to DL it)
Is it something for server use, more than a multiplayer save online with an host ?
(I know that, If I'm right, that there is some specifity for "real" server)
For a solo player on DST, is it better to use the server-side or client version?
