Please use this Github [github.com]fix instead of the below:

Instructions
  1. Download and install Cheat Engine. This is necessary to change value of addresses as the game is running.

  2. Change your desktop resolution to 16:9 and stretch it. This can be done on Nvidia Control Panel, I'm sure there is a similar setting in AMD Adrenalin:





  3. Start Cheat Engine and game and load into whatever episode you're playing.

  4. Alt tab out of game, and use cheat engine to hook into BtS process. Use "select process to open button":



  5. Change value type" to "Float", scan type to "Value between", and use values "1.7777776" and "1.7777778" and click "First Scan"



  6. Alt tab back in your game and move around a bit with Chloe.

  7. Alt tab back to Cheat Engine, select "Compare to first scan" and then click "Next Scan" a few times. This will lower the amount of found addresses.



  8. Once you have a bunch of addresses. ctrl A to select them all and click the red arrow to bring them into your active section below:



  9. Select your entire active list, right click "Change Record" "Change Value" and use 2.37 for 21:9 and 3.55 for 32:9.



  10. Tab back in your game and it should be the correct aspect ratio.

  11. You will have to do this every time you restart the game.

Notes

  1. The aspect ratio can sometimes reset between scene transitions. You can redo the method to reset it but it's a bit of a faff.
  2. As this is a shotgun approach, you are changing 200 odd addresses, of which only some relate to the aspect ratio. You may see some graphical issues.

I don't really intend to spend much more time on this. If someone wants to takeover, I suggest to pinpoint which couple of addresses in there relate to the aspect ratio and just edit those.

one last thing the Field of view should be 50 not 200. the mod works amazing via the link.

Sorry it only took me 2 years to have a look at this, the I was unable to change the resolution or aspect ratio via hex editting the assembly and unity.dlls. Until someone bothers to create a mod for this you'll have to make do with this hacky solution.
