  • This is the updated version of the mod. Unsubscribe from ALL old COD1 mods (assets, sounds, old campaign) as they are deprecated.
  • Call of Duty 1 mod aims to add three new campaigns from COD1 - Soviet, American & British. We aim for the highest quality with those and work on the mod day and night. Of course, won't make the maps & missions copy and paste from the Call of Duty 1. Some stuff might be different, but most of the objectives will not change.
  • Play with Fog of War Off
    Save the Game every time you're about to do something risky or something that might cause your main character to die!
    Music on! There's Call of Duty 1 music in-game.
    We suggest that you play the Campaign in this order: United States > British > Soviet.
    The Co-Op mode was only made for max 2 players.

  • Do you plan on making Call of Duty United Offensive or any other Call of Duty Campaign in Gates of Hell?
    There used to be plans to do this, however there are none at this moment.
  • Will there be any donations option? Or anything like that?
    No, we won't want your money in any way. Because then we will be asking ourselves to be DMCAed by the Call of Duty developers. I quote Ruby; "We're doing this for the Community, not for money."
  • Will you continue to update the mod even when its finished?
    Yeah, we plan on updating the mod to fix bugs or improve the gameplay. Please, note that we are not trying to 1:1 remake the Call of Duty campaign. There will be some differences. But yeah, we plan on fixing the bugs and keeping the mod(s) up-to-date.
  • Do I need any of the DLCs in order to play this?
    Unfortunately, yes. You do. As we aim for the highest quality, some of the assets were from the required DLCs. Unsure which missions have which assets as there is no indication. We are positive that we used assets from all the required DLCs, though.

If I deleted this mod (and I certainly wouldn't do this without Tele's explicit approval), it would mean nobody would be able to pick up this mod's maintenance. See, I jumped in to update this mod thoroughly - I wasn't the mod's original author. Right now, I'm awaiting the moment when Tele, the map maker and original creator of the mod, finally gets some time to actually work on new maps from scrap to update the mod (possibly as a new release idk, the finer details are nonexistent). Will this mystical update happen? I hope so. That's all I can say in this matter.

Why don't you just delete your mod? That'll save us a lot of time. Some things aren't working, the Brits don't have any weapons, etc.

Known issue. It's kinda a lot of work to do to fix it though, hence why it's not fixed yet (and why I'm not even working or planning to do it - me and TeleRory are supposed to work on a remake of this mod, but all work has been paused a couple months back and hasn't unpaused ever since).

game log keeps saying there are missing entities and skins on every single soviet mission and crashes
