"Man, the L4D2 commons are such a downgrade from the L4D1 commons."

Then, this mod was born.

Yes, I know this has been done before, I didn't know when making this. But ehhhhh, whatever.

Done by editing the Population.txt.

Tried my best to make the model placements as realistic as possible. (You'll see a lot of military in The Parish and no law enforcement in the first 3 maps of Swamp Fever, stuff like that.)

Only works in single-player or a locally hosted server in which the host has this mod installed.

Important Notes:
-Removes Clowns from Dark Carnival. (Version that keeps the L4D2 clowns.)
-Removes The Parachutist from Swamp Fever Map 2.
-Affects custom campaigns that use the default populations.

Let me know if you run into any issues.

This mod was a lot of fun to make, might look into doing more custom population files in the future.

dumb question but if i use a l4d1 ci replacement, will that mod also transition to l4d2 ci aswell?

I noticed that L4D2 biker commons occasionally spawn in The Passing
Also noticed business suit female commons showing up in Swamp Fever/rural L4D2 areas (at least with Cuba's infected)

While the L4D1 infected obviously don't have the same texture variety as the L4D2 infected (though Skessler's overhaul does remedy that), I appreciate how they have a lot more variety in terms of actual clothing types; suits, work clothes, uniforms, etc.
As opposed to the L4D2 infected who are all wearing the same like 4 casual outfits lmao
