In this brief guide I will share my understanding of the calendar puzzles, and how to solve them. I hope this helps anyone who also struggled.

I believe the constant solution to the puzzles is to repeat each gap between stickers.

I start by finding two of the same stickers that are already on the calendar. Then I count the boxes between them. Example 1, if there are two of the same stickers on day 4 and day 18, then the gap is 14 days. Once you get that number (each number is different for each puzzle) you continue to make that gap for all stickers. Focus on adding to the calendar date, but you may need to go backwards to. Example 2, two stickers are on 30 and 17 but you need to place another. The gap between 30 and 17 is 13, just place the last sticker on 4.


For a visual step by step here is how I got the solution for level 12 in Chapter 1 Home Sweet Home

I counted the days between the blue flowers. The first blue flower is on day 4, the second flower is on the 13th. With that knowledge we know the gap is 9 days.


So to finish the pattern I put the next blue flower on the 22. Now just continue the 9 day gap for all the stickers.

The easier way is to find the amount of days it takes for the stickers to repeat their pattern. Then you just have to use the approximately three times it repeats itself in the month to figure out all the placements!

It's like @tron has explained at the top here:
- Find a pair of stickers on the Calendar. How far apart are they.
- Use that number to place the extra sticker of the same design - so that they have same space between them.
- Count forwards, or backwards, or put it in the middle. It will fit only ONE place.
- Do the same for all the other sticker designs. NB same spacing as you already found.
- For stickers that are on the calendar only ONCE in the start picture - you count forwards or backwards. The extra one will fit only in ONE place. NB same spacing as you already found.

NOTE : It's the SAME spacing for all the stickers on your calendar !! So if you found, for example, a 15-day pattern for one of your sticker types, then it's the SAME 15-day pattern for all your sticker types. Yes, for your 'singles' too !

I find it easiest to solve by counting for each sticker type. But like @royalblueranger says below, this is the same thing - in essence - as following the pattern by the order of different stickers, like for example: a house follows 3 days after a fish, a tree comes 5 days before a spider, ... That kind of thing.

It's the identical logic : Find the one simple repeating pattern, for your calendar.

So those two ways of explaining about this type of puzzle are BOTH of them correct.

The pattern does NOT continue over from other months or continue further on to later months!
The puzzle is ONLY for the Calendar that you can see.

re comment from @inovade : There's a typing error in the middle statement. Should read: "...that means the other one should be 15 + 12 = 27." So the '27' is correct, but they should have written '12', not '13'.

it's actually rather simple. for example picture 1. look at the black pick at 1, now look at the other pick, it's at 13. so 13-1=12. that measn 1+12=13, for the other 13+12=25. see what i did there

same wth the yellow button. it's 3, the other is on 15. 15-3=12. that means the other one should be 15+13=27

simple
btw the number should be "inside" the calender. there's no such thing as date 0 or 32 (next month or last month)

Remember as well that it's a safe assumption that the pattern continues on the previous and next months that we can't see, so we can't necessarily assume that the pattern for each one starts on the 1st of the month.

I think it would be hard from a programming perspective for these generated daily puzzles to accept every possible answer that is technically correct where every sticker has it's own schedule, But I'd like to see a second valid answer on some of these calendars where, say, each sheet has it's own separate schedule. So instead of every sticker repeating every 9 days, the left sheet is every 9 days and the right one is every 13 days or something.

Because we all get different ones .

(People tend to forget that, and presume that whatever works/doesn't work for themselves is the same for everyone else. It isn't.)

I think perhaps some people are overthinking this puzzle type.
It's just a simple recurring pattern of 'X' days between repeats of the same icon/sticker type.
And where the point of the puzzle is finding the 'X' for your specific puzzle.

For any puzzle the solution is the same 'X' number of days between stickers with the same symbol (i.e. they have to be spaced out with an equal number of days between all the stickers of the same type). Once you've found the 'X' that works for one of your sticker types, it is the same 'X' for all the other sticker types on your calendar as well.

All stickers have to be used.

Oh I think I get it now. For that one it's not the uniform number of gaps, but it's how the other sticker is in the same relative location to the preexisting stickers. So the pattern of what's on 1, 8, 15, 22, 30, and 21 are reflected in placing the same stickers at 13, 20, 27, 10, 6, and 9, with the third one for 15 going on 3. This part is a pattern matching/duplication.

Then ones like 6 and 30 with the third being in the dead center of those two which is 18. This part is equal gaps.
