Early Note: This mod might be OP. Use this only for fun

This was originally just an experiment when I saw that no one hadn't made such mod (at least I didn't find any on mods), but fortunately it succeded. So, this mod is to fulfill the wild fantasy of those people who always want to replace all of their normal ammo to explosive ammo.

Just like what the title said, this mod converts all ammo to explosive ammo without having to pick explosive upgrade pack. The reserve ammo is consumed on each reload, so you can still run out of ammo.

Features available on "explosive chaos cfg.txt":
- Explosive Chaos Mode: This feature controls which type of survivor gets the explosive ammo (bots only, players only, or all).

- Ammo Notification: When enabled, this feature shows remaining ammo as an instructor hint.

- *NEW* Allow Only Registered Gun: When enabled, only guns registered on "registered gun.txt" get explosive ammo. If disabled, all primary guns get explosive ammo.


*NEW* "registered gun.txt":
This cfg file can be used to manually add/ remove guns that you want to give explosive ammo. The formats are like this:
weapon_smg = 1 weapon_smg_mp5 = 1 weapon_smg_silenced = 1 weapon_pumpshotgun = 0 weapon_shotgun_chrome = 0 weapon_shotgun_spas = 1 weapon_autoshotgun = 0 weapon_rifle = 1 weapon_rifle_ak47 = 1
Notes: 0= Off, 1= On.


Mechanisms of ammo conversion (in case if you're curious)
:
- Ammo conversion happens on first shot after reload.

- If you reload before explosive ammo clip reaches 0, the remaining explosive ammo clip will be added later when it reaches 0.

- Special case for grenade launcher: As it only has 1 ammo clip on each reload, it has automatic explosive ammo refill when reloading.


Anyway, if any of you have ever got a question like "Can pistols get explosive ammo?", the answer is "no". There are some netprops for that, but somehow they don't work on pistols & any guns that use secondary slot (it can still get explosive ammo if you move it to primary slot though). So, if you want pistol to have explosive ammo, you can try my other mod "The Demolition Gunner" (but that mod uses a real explosion instead).

So, have fun with your wild fantasy using explosive ammo as much as you want...


NOTES:
  • If you have older cfg files, you need to delete them as the new ones have slightly different formats.

before it i was confused why this mod doesn't work

after update i think it must to delete the cfg files. because in my case i just delete the cfg file and it works again.

i think it same for burning chaos but i didn't try again

@Crazy Dog , unfortunately no. The AOE is based on original explosive ammo. So if you want bigger AOE, you can use rifles, snipers, shotguns & m60.
