Bruma

Description
"Developed to combat the high casualty rate of large attack vessels against more dangerous europan fauna, the Bruma was designed with the imput of veteran coalition crews. The result is a sleek ship that sacrifices some armament for the sake of speed but still manages to pack full fabrication capabilities, optimized use of space and several quality of life fetaures. Intended only for specialized missions, the Bruma is built to unusually high standards, making it coveted among exprienced capitans."

This sub is intended to give a fairly vanilla-like experience while giving an endgame worthy ship for smaller crews with a similar design philosophy to the Azimuth. As such, it doesn't have too much automation or fancy contraptions, however it does have a few quality of life features to make up for the smaller size and middling firepower.

- Efficient but weak reactor lacks the output to power all systems at once, relying on three 1000kwh batteries for high intensity manouvers.
- The battery array has a very simple circuit which lowers the charge rate as it nears full charge to prevent power surges once it reaches 100%.
- A powerful engine which makes the ship slightly faster than any vanilla ship.
- Smaller size makes the sub nimble and easy to navigate but more prone to sinking.
- Intruder, fire and meltdown alarms in the command room, as well as a switch to turn off exterior lights.
- Command room periscope that can switch between spotlights with the press of a button.
- "Smarter" water ducts that don't open if the room under them is filled with water.
- Fairly segmented and space efficient room design, whithout going overboard with cheesey item stacking.

The sub has been tested in custom missions with bots but not throughly, so let me know if something isn't right.

Thanks for the feedback. The issues should now be resolved.

Also it looks like bots can get stuck swimming below the platform in the engine room and engineering.

Great sub! But the gap on the vent in the crew quarters is messed up and doesn't drain water from that room.
