The original cheese in Utopia (by post on SteamVR Guides) was discovered by user PLODOTVOR.
A faster route was discovered by user vlad_izberg.
I found the cheese in the Dystopia side.

This, as well as the Utopia skips, have been patched out. Specifically in this section the time allowed under water has been significantly reduced making it impossible to reach the other side before dying and triggering a reset. You can still reach the area by following the intended route until you obtain the driller and switch legitimately, however a collider was placed over the pipe making the player slide off making it impossible to go out of bounds by this method.

On the Utopia side barriers have been added preventing the players from going out of bounds. I'll be leaving this up for historical reference, but just know this is no longer possible without downpatching to an earlier version.
