If you have custom textures and models, you need add them in bsp.
First you need to download the program Pakrat(google it ;) ).


All you need is to select your file (*.bsp in maps folder) and press Auto button, Pakrat will be automatically find all resources(sound, textures,models) what you used on map. But sometimes it may not identify resources, in such cases we have a button Add. Select and add all missed resurces manually.

When you have finished adding resources, simply save the BSP file.

All files to upload in workshop are placed in the folder workshop


If you upload map place you're bsp in folder workshop/maps. If you upload something else just place it another folders.

If you want upload something else like a sound, skin or localization files, you need paste files in same folder as in original folders. If you want to replace the existing file, then rename the file to the same name as the original file.
For example:

NOTE: all downloaded files from workshop placed automatically in folder workshop_temp, you can find your file by id from workshop

After you have prepared everything to upload your map. Launch game and go to: Settings -> Game -> Workshop -> My client-side modifications.
Press create.



Select your file. Write name of map, not need write something like "awwwesome map from me lord of the world", just enter name of map "duel_abandoned". Then add some description. And add preview image 512x512 jpg format. Press ok.
If you upload something else (not map), just select this file or files. Like in example upper i select game_startup.flac in workshop\sound\music\misc folder.



Select your map in list, and press publish.
