Having low FPS and really small screen resolution may be the first things you encounter when you start the game, don't worry it has an easy, 2 step fix.

Kentie's Launcher helps you configure the game, and includes a mod manager so it is much easier to run it on a modern computer.

1. Go to this page[kentie.net] ( https://kentie.net/article/dxguide/ )
   
2. Download the latest version of the launcher under the "Downloads" title.
   
3. Place the contents of the DeusExe zip file in your Deus Ex 'System' directory, you can find this folder by opening the Deus Ex download folder from Steam

1. Go to this page[www.cwdohnal.com] ( https://www.cwdohnal.com/utglr/ )
   
2. You'll see a very old page, navigate to the "For Deus Ex (works with Deus Ex version 1112fm)" part
   
3. Download one or both of those renderers (i use OpenGL)
   
4. Place the contents of the zip file(s) in your Deus Ex 'System' directory, you can find this folder by opening the Deus Ex download folder from Steam

WARNING
Even though my pc is fine after the download, Virustotal says this site is malicious (3 of the 4 antiviruses that flagged the site says it's phishing), download at your own risk.

After doing all these, You might find your cursor stuck on the top left of the screen.

If so, run the game again and and before pressing Play, press Configure and enable Raw Input and disable FPS limit by lowering it down to zero.
