Guide

The primary power system of this vehicle is made up of three hydrogen engines.
There is a small battery, which is primarily intended for use when stationary,
to keep life support active, to allow the doors and ramps to be used and to
keep the conveyor system active. It is recommended that the driver keeps the
battery in recharge mode while the engines are running. Keeping the battery in
automatic mode whilst the reactor or the engines are running will incur
continual losses of approximately 10kW.

There is also a small reactor on board, which may be used instead of the battery.
The reactor is not intended to be used as a primary power system.

Entry to the vehicle is through the main doors on each side. These are each
equipped with a ramp, which stows over the door when closed. The ramp will
operate automatically when the door is opened or closed and, in the stock
configuration, a ramp light will illuminate when the ramp is deployed. If the
ramp is stowed, the door can be operated from the outside by means of a button
positioned just above the yellow hinge.

With the doors closed, the main cabin is airtight. The main vent is at floor
level toward the front of the cabin, and is fed by an oxygen tank. Please note
that there is no gas generator on board the vehicle; oxygen can be conserved
on airless worlds before opening the doors by putting the main vent into
depressurise mode. There is a yellow button next to the cryo chamber that
will toggle this.

Also to be found at the rear of the cabin are the Trailer Manager controls,
and access to the main cargo. There is a spare programmable block should it be
required. On the floor is a button that will operate the ramps in the event
that the doors are removed or inoperable (or the occupants just want to look
outside).

Toward the front of the cabin there is a beacon, which can be turned on or
off using the button next to it. The other button is the light switch. Below
the buttons is the door to the cockpit.

The cockpit can be entered from outside the vehicle, but we recommend that
drivers enter and exit via the pressurised passenger cabin. On entering the
cockpit, instrument lights are activated and the suspension will move to full
height. A complete guide to the configured toolbars can be found at the end of
this manual. Headlights and taillights are controlled using the headlight key.

Outside the vehicle, there are buttons to operate the working lights on each
side. On the rear of the vehicle, smaller buttons will operate the lifting
jacks which raise and lock the vehicle, giving safe access to the underside.
This is useful for replacing wheels, performing repairs and for accessing
the main circuit breaker panel. The same buttons at the rear can be used to
lower the vehicle back down to the ground. Note: When replacing the magnetic
plates on the pistons, it is essential that auto-locking is completely disabled.
Enabling auto-locking on the mag plates will void any warranty on this vehicle.

Also on the rear of the vehicle are connect and disconnect buttons. These will
connect or disconnect either the connector or the trailer hitch (the hinge
below the connector).

Above the connector is a ladder, allowing an engineer to climb onto the roof
without use of a jet pack.

Next to the connector, on the left and high up, there is access to a hydrogen
tank. This is the only means provided by which hydrogen bottles can be refilled.
Oxygen bottles can be refilled from the oxygen tank, reachable either from the
rear connector or from the internal cargo access.

Please note that this vehicle is not equipped with any fuel refinement capability.
The manufacturers recommend using ISL branded small or medium hydrogen trailers,
or any compatible survival trailer, if extended range is required. This vehicle
can also make use of electrical power provided by nuclear or battery trailers.

Survival Build

This vehicle can be built by hand or using a single grid printer. It will need to
be finished off by hand; doors will need to be added, a searchlight will need to
be added to the top piston, and magnetic plates will need placing on the bottom
of the lifting pistons.

The doors can be found here:

Left and right doors.

They can be built using a temporary projector; details will be provided in due course.
Once built, the interior lights on the doors will need to be added to the actions on the
ExTruck Left Ramp Event Controller and the ExTruck Right Ramp Event
Controller
respectively.

Once magnetic plates are welded to the lifting pistons, they all need to be added to
the ExTruck Piston Event Controller's list of blocks. Be sure to disable auto-lock
on all three.

The search light will need to be added to the cockpit's second toolbar, positions 7
and 8, as shown below.

A green version of this truck is available for those who want it.
