Quick fix for Half-Life mods and expansion packs not working after the 25th Anniversary update.

Introduction
While the recent update have introduced a plethora of QoL improvements, restored content and additional stuff thrown into, it somehow breaks the compatibility with the majority of Half-Life mods as well the expansion packs. Speaking of mods, while some of them like Crack-Life: Campaign Mode may work just fine, others like Half-Payne and Decay: Solo Mission won't even run. Here's a quick solution:

Go to your Steam library and right click Half-Life, then "Properties".
Step 2
Go to "Betas" and "Beta participation", where you can revert the update back to the previous version via "steam_legacy" beta branch.
Step 3
Wait for the game to roll back to the pre-25th Anniversary build and you're good to go!

For the time being, the legacy build is the most reliable way to play HL1's expansion packs and mods until Valve release a hotfix to make them compatible with the latest build.
