Running The Game on Fairly(?) Modern Hardware
由 🔥̭̪⁧⁧T³⁧⁧🔥̭̪ 制作
These older titles require you to set one cpu core for the game itself to be functional. While it is possible to boot your operating system with only one core active, it is unnecessary to disable all the cores and reboot each time you would like to enjoy the game.

While tweaking around I have found out that
1) If you exit out of fullscreen
2)Set one core to the game

you could play the game as intended.
To exit the fullscreen you can edit the
gfxsettings.xml
file on
%localappdata%l\toy soldiers complete
setting the fullscreen value to 0 would be sufficient. Here is my example config:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" ?> <Settings> <display xres="1920" yres="1080" fullscreen="0" vsync="1" /> <rendering brightness="0.290000" textureDetail="1" shadowQuality="2" antiAlias="2" /> </Settings>

To set one core per game I have used another product called CPUCores on steam (I am not the owner nor afilliated with that software)

Upon downloading go to advanced settings and click "override game specific core settings"
Than select core 0 below and launch the game from CPUCores. This will make the game playable and not crash
You can use another guide to make the game borderless windowed to get the fullscreen experience

both games work fine for me. The tank boss in the first game got stuck everytime and the plane turning movement sucks for me but other than that it's fine. Running on 8 cores
