This guide gives advices to unlock all the achievements of the game. You can look for a specify achievement by researching it through the guide using Ctrl + F. The achievement icon is set beside its name to make it clearer.

This guide is split in multiple achievement categories so that you can easily find out what you want to achieve depending on what you want to focus.

Warning, this guide got spoilers. So, before to read this guide, I highly recommend you to enjoy the campaign without focusing on the achievements. This game got 5 maps. On my side, I have done the campaign multiple times:

• A first one in 'Normal' difficulty to enjoy the game;
  
• A second time in 'Tourist' difficulty to complete the game without S.A.M. skill to unlock the Old School achievement;
  
• A third time in 'Tourist' difficulty to collect the secrets;
  
• A fourth time in 'Serious' difficulty;
  
• A fifth time in 'Serious' difficulty in cooperation.

These two achievements will unlock during your achievement collection:

Part-Time Hero
Get half of all achievements
Going to be unlocked after collecting your 26th achievement.


Hero
Unlock all Achievements
Going to be unlocked after collecting your 50th achievement.

Those achievements can't be missed and are going to be unlock through your campaign.

The Refinery
This achievement is going to be unlocked through the first map A Smell Of Petroleum Prevails[serioussam.fandom.com].


The Processing
This achievement is going to be unlocked through the second map The Song Of The Stormbringer[serioussam.fandom.com].


The Operator
This achievement is going to be unlocked through the second map The Song Of The Stormbringer[serioussam.fandom.com].


Eye for an Eye
This achievement is going to be unlocked through the third map Siberiade[serioussam.fandom.com].


Heart of Russia
This achievement is going to be unlocked through the third map Siberiade[serioussam.fandom.com].


The Last Train Departed
This achievement is going to be unlocked through the fourth map Roadside Picnic[serioussam.fandom.com].


The End
This achievement is going to be unlocked through the fifth map Crime And Punishment[serioussam.fandom.com].

The 4 first maps possesse a side objective which offer a reward. I recommend you to complete all of them during your first campaign.

Black Gold
Black Gold[serioussam.fandom.com] is the side objective of the first map A Smell Of Petroleum Prevails[serioussam.fandom.com] which offer a S.A.M egg.


Energize
Energize[serioussam.fandom.com] is the side objective of the second map The Song Of The Stormbringer[serioussam.fandom.com] which offer two Rage Serums.


Hide and Seek
Hide and Seek[serioussam.fandom.com] is the side objective of the third map Siberiade[serioussam.fandom.com] which offer a Hoverboard Scooter and three L.I.F.E. gadgets.

Alpha and Omega
Alpha and Omega[serioussam.fandom.com] is the side objective of the fouth map Roadside Picnic[serioussam.fandom.com] which offer two Black Hole gadgets.

Old School
Complete Siberian Mayhem without learning a single S.A.M skill in Singleplayer


Advice: You can complete the campaign in 'Tourist' difficulty. Be careful to never use a S.A.M egg. In my case, I was careful enough to not open those boxes. Warning: in the end of the first level, there is a box which require to be opened to trigger a monsters wave. Be sure to not activate a S.A.M. bonus!

Serious Mayhem
Complete Siberian Mayhem on Serious difficulty in Singleplayer


Advice: See 'Veni, Vidi, Vici' advice just below.

Veni, Vidi, Vici
Beat the final boss in Singleplayer on Serious difficulty without loading mid-battle savegames

Advice: If you are courageous enough, you can play the whole campaign in Serious difficulty. If you're like me, not a pro player at all, here is a way easier solution. Warning: I recommend to have completed the game before, because this solution is kindah going to kill all the fun of the game.
Begin a new campaign (Singleplayer > Siberian Mayhem > Pick up the first map > Before selecting the difficulty, press F2 (Configuration button available at the bottom left of the monitor). There, be sure to select the 'Serious' difficulty and the 'Infinite ammo' option.
Then, I recommend to pick up as much easy to access S.A.M eggs and easy to access gadgets. But especially, pick the 3 following items during the first map:

• Rocket launcher[serioussam.fandom.com], useful to make a lot of damage early in the game:

• L.I.F.E.[serioussam.fandom.com] to survive until having the next gadget:

• Time Warp[serioussam.fandom.com]:

The infinite option also work on the gadgets. From that, do not hesitate to abuse on the usage of L.I.F.E. gadget which bring you +50 health points until reaching the Time Warp gadget. This one is going to make the 'Serious' difficulty to 'Tourist' difficulty without problem. It is possible to launch multiple Time Warp gadgets at the same time. It does not slow down more the enemies, but it ensure to keep the slow-down active. Be really carefuly on the time left of the Time Warp gadget at the bottom left of the monitor. Then, just abuse of it and have fun combining this with other gadget or double Burner once in possession.
Be careful: do not save during the fight against the final boss. You still can let active the automatic saves.

Massacre Party
Complete Siberian Mayhem on Serious difficulty in Cooperative with enemy multiplier set to at least x2

Advice: Like the above advice, you can configure the game to make it easier even with the 'Serious difficulty'. This is even easier in Multiplayer since you can respawn at any time!

Everyone Is A Minesweeper
Die in a minefield


Advice: Some maps border are represented by a minefield visible by multiple signs having a mine image. Just run into it.

Ok, And?
Die in frozen water


Advice: Simply jump into frozen water. A temperature progress bar should appear. Just take damage until the death.

Dogs and Frogs
Kill an Aludran Microhopper[serioussam.fandom.com]. This is almost story-related. You're going to meet one really quickly at the beginning of the game.


Extremely Uncool
Kill a Draconian Burner[serioussam.fandom.com]. This is almost story-related. You're going to meet the first one through the second level.


Fight Fire with Fire
Kill Draconian Burner with a Burner gun
You will find the Burner gun[serioussam.fandom.com] through the fourth level. Once obtained, kill a Draconian Burner[serioussam.fandom.com] with it.

Critical Temperature
Kill 10 enemies with one Burner explosion


Advice: On my side, I have unlocked it through the last level at the ambush area. Just waiting that Gnaars are stacking, and then use the Burner[serioussam.fandom.com] for a big boom.


Line up, please!
Kill 5 enemies with one Crossbow shot


Advice: On my side, I have unlocked it through the last level after the ambush area. There will be a long corridor. Trigger the first, the second or the wave of the next area before to get back to this corridor to get 5 enemies into the same line:

Rid the monster of its misery


Advice: At the beginning of the second level, you're going to meet a sleeping Minor Bio-mechanoid[serioussam.fandom.com] Instead of killing it with your weapons, use the crane to make fall a box over its head.

Iron Caput
Don't ride the tank - become the tank
Complete the tank area without entering into the tank.

Advice: You can do it easily by selecting the fourth level in Tourist difficulty. The tank area isn't far away from the beginning of the map. Be sure to never enter the tank[serioussam.fandom.com].


Look Ma, I'm a Lumberjack!
Complete the mech sequence and kill all big enemies without shooting


Advice: On my side, I completed another time the second map in Tourist difficulty. In doubt, once I entered the Mech[serioussam.fandom.com], I prefered to never use the rocket and only the chain saw.


Combustion Tamer
Kill 30 enemies while riding one Draconian Burner


Advice: On my side, I have done it in 'Tourist' difficulty and with infinite ammo. In the fourth level, after the Tank area, there is the side objective. I recommend to save the game after killing the Adult Arachnoid[serioussam.fandom.com] at the entrance of the bunker. Then, use a Time Warp[serioussam.fandom.com] and kill the least enemies possible to reach that first corridor. Ignore the first Draconian Burner and continue through the second corridor. There, a door is going to open with another Draconian Burner. You can go behind him to call the elevator to get additional enemies. If the Time Warp is going to an end before you are ready, do not hesitate to use another Time Warp. Ensure to have the Rodeo S.A.M. skill and go behind that second Draconian Burner. You can climb it up only from its back. Use the secondary fire to smash the ground to kill close enemies. Use the primary fire to shot the laser to aim far-away enemies. Once you've killed 30 enemies, the achievement is going to be unlocked. Careful, you have to kill 30 enemies with the same Draconian Burner!

Use the T.A.C.T. for the first time


Advice: You can find one in the third level 'Siberiade', see below the achievement's advice for "Inborn plumber".

Back To The Future
Use the Hoverboard Scooter for the first time


Advice: You can find one in the fourth level, under the bridge (at spawn).

David and Goliath
Destroy an Octanian Sentry Tower using only the hoverboard


Advice: You can find a Hoverboard Scooter the fourth level, under the bridge (at spawn). Then, continuing this map, you can meet an Octanian Sentry Tower[serioussam.fandom.com] into the tank area. Clean the area and be sure to not damage the Octanian Sentry Tower. Leave the tank and use your Hoverboard Scooter to fully kill the tower.


Hole-in-One
Use a Black Hole to kill all enemies during the final defense


Advice: At the end of the fourth level, after the train animation (connecting the wagon to its locomotive), use the 2 Black Holes[serioussam.fandom.com] one at a time to eliminate the full wave. For information, you can find those gadgets into that same map through its side objective. If you are not sure which wave you've to end with those gadgets, this is the one having a Saggitarian Sidewinder[serioussam.fandom.com], that kind of flying iron snake.

Inborn Plumber
Resolve the 3 plumber puzzles and get the reward.


Advice: In the third level 'Siberiade', 3 puzzles are hidden into that big snowy area:


For each of those puzzles, do not forget to pick up the purple card.
Following the path leading to the left, you're going to meet a Mental camp on your right.

Getting back to that previous path, continuing until an intersection, the second camp is on top on the hill (after a kind of Mental portal).

Take the previous intersection to make a long road. The third camp is a bit after a small farm.

Once you got the 3 purple cards, continue the map until the small house which make you leave your snow scooter. In the next room (accessible from the outside), you can open a secret box. Opening it is going to unlock this achievement.

All Ingenious is Simple
Resolve the puzzle.


Advice: In the third level 'Siberiade', you will need to resolve a puzzle to open the gate which is closing the bridge access. Make a quick save before resolving it to unlock the next achievement. Resolving the puzzle is going to unclock this achievement.


All Ingenious is Shot
Shoot the puzzle.


Advice: In the third level 'Siberiade', you will need to resolve a puzzle to open the gate which is closing the bridge access. Make a quick save before destroying it to unlock the previous achievement. Destroying the computer terminal with a rocket is going to unlock this achievement.


All Ingenious is Hard
Resolve the hard puzzle.


Advice: In the fourth level, after the tank area, there is on your left the side objective. Near the beginning on the bunker, there will be a tunnel with a turning red light, having a lot of Processed Anthropolyp[serioussam.fandom.com] and a Draconian Burner[serioussam.fandom.com]. In this tunnel, there is a small room on your right. Break all of the boxes to make appear a secret area. Resolving the puzzle in it is going to unlock this achievement.

Extreme Survivalist
Get a gold medal on any survival level.


Advice: On my side, I have unlocked this achievement into the The Snowrider survival level, the one with the tank. Ironically, this is the last survival level I could complete (as bronze medal). The few advices I can give you are:

• Destroy the stalagmites in the beginning of the run with your cannon or speed boost;
  
• Save the health box (knowing they bring 50 health points) since you're not under 50 health points left;
  
• After a few waves, you will need to run to those health boxes since your health points are going to go down quickly (you will see that they always spawn at the same places, look at the rayon pointing to the sky to determinate easily if a box has spawned);
  
• Use the speed boost as much as possible being careful to not hit a wall;
  
• Make the same turn over and over again in the right sense (maybe take an attempt to discover the map, you will see that you can turn around a mountain in one sense only);
  
• Doing that turn, use the speed boost before the falling, it will act like a springboard;
  
• When you feel ready to, you can access to the pink box (increasing reloading cannon bonus) into that kind of cave:
  
• Once the bosses arrive, try to adapt your use of the speed boost based on their projectiles;
  
• Good luck, you have to survive at least 10 minutes into that tank!

Hero-glyphic
Get any medal on Horus Sanctuary survival level.
Survive for at least 5 minutes in this map described on "Easy" difficulty.


Superior Species
Get any medal on Kleer Fortress survival level.
Survive for at least 4 minutes and 30 seconds in this map described on "Medium" difficulty.

Aurora Borealis
Get any medal on The Snowrider survival level.
Survive for at least 5 minutes in this map described on "Easy" difficulty.

Advice: Look at the "Extreme Survivalist" advice above.


Feng Shui Fight
Get any medal on Dragon Gates survival level.
Survive for at least 5 minutes in this map described on "Medium" difficulty.

Advice: Better run, jump with the Jump Boosters and kill ranged units than killing land units, even so, kill some of them.

Welcome to the Jungle
Get any medal on Monkey Canyon survival level.
Survive for at least 4 minutes in this map described on "Hard" difficulty.

Advice: Do not hesitate to consum ammo from your favorite weapons since ammo is respawning at the spawn. Plus, your camp got some orange targets; shooting at them will rise some special traps to kill enemies. Those targets require a recharge time before to be reuse. Warning, those traps can also damage you!

Here Comes the Pain
Get any medal on Castle of Pain survival level.
Survive for at least 4 minutes in this map described on "Hard" difficulty.

Advice: Best advice: run! This map will spawn some ultra-resistant medevial warriors. On my side, I did not use ammo to kill them (or only with the crossbow when they do not have much health points anymore). I especialy kill as fast as possible the spawning Common Aludran Reptiloid[serioussam.fandom.com], then use some ammo to kill others monsters. I recommend using the crossbow[serioussam.fandom.com]
