The north side of the canals are ripe for building. Build all the gentle, thrill and junior rides.

Build 2 each of the food and drink stands (Moorish Kababs...) As always build that info booth, it will rain. Hire mechanics and janitors. Research more thrill rides. Advertise in a national newspaper for the park.

You should see your park boost its value as you add more rides. You should see the ride revenue come in without adjusting ride price. That it takes about a game time year paces the scenario. That you can just develop the north side, still should see some play balance.
