What I did was that I turned off the Variable framerate feature from Nvidia control panel and from monitor's own settings. Then I went to 3D-settings for every program. I added AIM2.exe to list and changed many of its settings to differ from global settings (below).

Now I figured out that the game cfg had 143Hz but my monitor is 144Hz. I changed cfg file to 144Hz and now alt-tab goes smoothly like yesterday. Maybe this was the real trick.

I hope it helps. I had also checked 16 bit colors at aim2.exe file's compatibility options tab. I took it off. and going to try the game first time today. If I dont write additional comments it means it works with 32bit too.
