It's just like the Hunting Rifle except it uses energy cells and does 320 - 325 base damage and the beam can hit multiple enemies
Modern Axe: (did some quick testing but left it as well as the Katana in favor of the Stun baton, you can maybe get the Modern Axe to 1 shot all non big enemies, but I don't think it would be worth the investment)
- Attack speed: 10 times in an in-game timer minute (same as the Stun Baton and Katana)
- Base Damage: 183? (It did 217 when I had a 119% boost)
Magnus Machine Gun: (Large Caliber) (only did a quick tested didnt keep)
- Attack speed: Fast
- Base Damage: 55 (It did 78 when I had a 142% boost)
- Reload speed: slow
- Capacity: 30 (If i recall correctly i didnt think to record it at the time)
- Accuracy: solid (I didnt think to record it at the time but from what I recall it was similar to the Automatic rifle)
I ran into the Hunting railgun and the Mk2 flamethrower but didn't bother taking them with me to test as I was more focused on surviving than testing.
It seems been a long time and developer added some new guns to the game — I never met Stim and american rifle.
So Stim is SMG, full auto, not burst — and American rifle is assault rifle like M16, using medium caliber ammo?
I add them but need just more info in which ammo category :)
Also grabbed the damage for the revolver too, it does 210 base damage.
Picked up the American rifle, didn't get numbers for damage, but it does slightly less than the automatic rifle and has 30 shots instead of 20. Ill post again if i run into the other ones.
Awesome guide btw!
I just didn't have time to play, find and test them all.
About machete and fireman axe - it has already been in guide in melee weapons description. Every player if wants buy melee - should buy axe and save some creds, that's all)
To use the hunting scope first hold down on left mouse button (you will melee but thats trivial), then hold right mouse button (at this point both buttons should be being pressed at once). A sort of slow-mo effect will happen at this point thats how you know the scope is "active", now aim like normal and then release the left mouse button to fire the shot, rinse and repeat.
Feel free to add this little tidbit to your guide if you want Vietnam Flashback.
Also I'm just gonna toss this out there but if a player buys the Fireman's Axe they should pass on buying a machete later, the axe can get the job done fine and that 550 should be spent on something else.
