Controller Dampening Fix

Forza Motorsport already has default dampening for controllers, but steam users have additional settings that can hinder your performance. This guide removes steam's extra dampening.

Navigate to your Forza Motorsport library page and click the "Manage" icon.
Step 2

Now click the "Properties" option.
Step 3

Now click on "Controller" and change the "Override for Forza Motorsport" to "Disable Steam Input" to remove any unwanted additional dampening.

Thanks dude, this sadly holds true for alot of games
This will not only restore the feedback in the triggers for brake pressure, but it also stops the random controller disconnects or steering loss bug, as this is directly related to steaminput aswell

Thank You Sir. This help me a lot.
Having lot of issues when trying to play with a controller instead of a wheel.
Have been restarted the game like hundred of times because the controller is not recognized before this simple fix
