Extends the deadline for accepting The Dragon's Gambit DLC campaign out until the year 5000 as well as disables the various expiration warning messages. This allows players to take on the DLC at their own pace and not be forced to do it at the prescribed time. Also, those who have ongoing campaigns/careers past the default start date can play the campaign inline with their current save. However, note that the save must be from before the latest patch has been applied in order for the campaign to be offered to the player.

Similar capability to BobbertModdert's Extended Deadlines and order66's Updated Extended Deadlines but for The Dragon's Gambit DLC.

I haven't done extensive testing, but I did try out the first DLC mission with a campaign well past the default timeline (3039).

Don't know if there'd be a problem or not. I haven't tried a career with that mod.

Will this work if you are well past the deadline on career creation due to an advanced career start?

Well im the mod tester of my coop group as I am by far the most "technical". I know they are going to run the campaign too, just wondering how best to instruct. ie am i am outlier and not functioning the way it did in your testing, and should suggest a different path than what I took.

For Co-op, whoever is hosting should use a pre-patch save if you want to play the DLC campaign. I don't think it matters for the clients.

OK, that works, it seems like I got it then.
So so I guess im using that slightly older save now. No problem. I had mainly just tested to make sure my weapons and mech variants I made were working.

So for my friends I coop with, do I need to tell them to use a save from before? It only worked for me with a save from before the patch date.

Mod on - Before patch date works as intended

Mod off - after patch but before DLC was installed I get the message of comstar being pissed that I ignored them, and one from Ryanna I hadnt read. After DLC date, i see no indicators at all of the DLC, either for it starting or it expiring.

OK, I was able to replicate the issue. It does appear that using a save after the patch was applied but before the DLC was installed somehow blocks the Priority Transmission from appearing so the deadline cannot be extended. Unfortunately I'm not sure there is anything I can do about that, but I'll at least update the description with that information.

Not sure why it did not work in your first scenario, feels like it should have. You are saying that save is from after the latest patch was installed, but before you bought the DLC?

The 2nd scenario sounds like it worked as expected. What is the in-game date for that save? You won't get the message from Ryana if the Priority Transmission has been triggered. It's only presented if you are past the date.

OK, went back a bit with the mod off, and got both Comstar and Ryanna messages.
Turned the mod on and tried the same save and nothing.
Went back to a save from before the patch and i got the Comstar message and an alert of like 32 thousand days to reply. But not the message from Ryanna yet which is odd. I just got the popup and saved to post here. Will Ryanna come up after I accept the comstar one?

It is odd, it seems like I needed to go to a save made before the patch for the new DLC came out, regardless of the year, then it looks to work, as long as I get the Ryanna part (hope her priority mission comes up still).

Is this what you were expecting at this point?

The DLC campaign kicks-off through a 'Priority Transmission' notice (similar to LotKL and RoR) that triggers on 7/1/3038.

If you have a save from before that period, does the notice come up at that time? Try it with and without the mod enabled, if you can.

If you load the current (year 3062) save with the mod disabled, do you get two DLC transmissions appearing? One will be from ComStar and the other from Ryana telling you that the DLC campaign is available but you are past the start date.

I just loaded up my last game and its odd, Comstar isnt listed in my standings at all. I know before I had to restart for career mode for Rasalhague i had a ton of standings and career mode removed most of them and set everything else to zero, but i loaded the game and went end to end through it twice to make sure, and Comstar isn't in there.

Should I try an older savegame?

Also what will popup showing it is starting, do i need to be somewhere specific?
