The subarea under the castle is accessed by jumping into the black abyss near the save crystal.

Is the subarea underneath the castle supposed to be the cattle cells? If so, I'm struggling to find the enemy that spawns the 3rd black book. I've used multiple save files, as well as changed the time to a full moon and still had no luck.
