So first off, getting 12 new armies every 5 turns is excessive, which you really feel once you realize that all of the lords start at level 45-50. Meaning that you have 540-600 skill points to apply every 5 turns.
Second, these armies are 10-13 unit stacks and only consist of Chosen, Aspiring Champions and monsters, all of varying allegiances. Which means that your Dark Authority might not be so nice to you.
Which these two issues, it would be a lot better if instead every 5 turns you were given maybe 3-5 20 unit stacks. And perhaps give the player a window to plan out the contents of future armies.
