And I haven't given the oasis thing another try since then but I'm confident I can do it; I just might need to change more of the script than I originally hoped - not that it would change the end result from my original vision, just take a bit more effort to get there. I'll let you know if I'm running into more issues.
In the meantime I'm enjoying these maps.
Regarding how to make Tropical Mirage have fish pools, I'm not sure, but it can be done. It might be possible to use part of the code for Tundra Pools to make the fish pools. Feel free to add me as a friend on Steam to message me with specific questions about it, although my knowledge of map scripting is limited.
Regarding Calm Shores, I don't think it can be loaded unless there are two equally-sized teams. Calm Shores is an example of a map that has mirror symmetry, which means that your half of the map has almost the same layout as your opponent's half of the map (except minor differences such as forest shapes).
Many of these maps can be loaded with unequally-sized teams or as FFA's. But it's a hit or miss because I think these maps were designed for 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3.
