What this mod does
  • Enables the ability to attempt the main Easter eggs in solo (offline and online) and coop matches with any players online.

  • Adds client-sided persistent global Easter egg progression in solo (offline and online) and coop.

  • Adds a Easter egg speedrun timer for the main quest Easter eggs.

  • Adds Mule Kick back into every map when playing offline.

  • Added a EE speedrun timer that starts when the first steps of the main quest Easter eggs are initiated and stops when the last steps of the main quest Easter eggs are completed.

  • Added a fully functional Mule Kick back into zombie maps when not connected to the Call of Duty: Black Ops servers.

Ascension EE Changes:
  • Casimir Mechanism Easter egg now works with any amount of players.

  • The buttons step now gives players one hundred seconds to press all four buttons when not in a four player game.

  • The lunar lander step can now be done in solo (this step is unchanged in coop) after the pressure plate step (in order: ride the lander near the Revive perk to grab the letter L, ride the lander near the Stamin-Up perk to grab the letter U, ride the lander near the Speed-Cola perk to grab the letter N and ride the lander near the PhD perk to grab the letter A).

  • The freeing Gersh step only requires the upgraded Zeus Cannon, upgraded Ray Gun and Gersh Device when playing solo (this step is unchanged in coop).

Call of the Dead EE Changes:
  • Ensemble Cast Easter egg replaces Stand-in Easter egg in solo.

  • You no longer have to knife the frozen vodka bottle, you can shoot at the ice encased around it to dislodge it whilst standing below it to catch it in solo, when in coop the ice encased around the vodka bottle still needs to be knifed.

Shangri-La EE Changes:
  • Time Travel Will Tell Easter egg now works with any amount of players.

  • In solo (this step remains unchanged in coop) the tile matching step now gives the player one hundred seconds to match each tile before they reset (standing on the tile activates the timer and symbol so that you can match tiles, crouching on the tile clears the symbol and stops the timer so that you can memorise which symbols are on what tiles).

  • Time in eclipse mode has been increased to twenty minutes during the tile matching step when playing in solo.

  • The slide step no longer needs players standing on the pressure plate at the bottom of the slide when in solo.

  • Someone always spawns as Richtofen.

Moon EE Changes:
  • Richtofen's Grand Scheme Easter egg now works with any amount of players.

  • Someone always spawns as Richtofen.

A: Yes, in order to play some zombies maps it's necessary to download Call of Duty: Black Ops - Multiplayer.

Q: Can I launch Call of Duty: Black Ops - Multiplayer with this mod installed?

A: It's not recommended to do so.

Q: How do I load zombie maps when not connected to Call of Duty: Black Ops servers?

A: Any guide that shows how to bind keys to loading zombie maps via cfg commands will do.

This version of the mod works with the vanilla version of the game without the need of Game_Mod or Plutonium to load it. You can also compile from source using Call of Duty: Black Ops - Mod Tools (BETA) on Steam.

@Riagomitolamelo I pushed a bad update a while ago, I know what's wrong and I'll fix it alongside a larger update but I don't know when that'll be, there are previous commits that can be compiled that'll work though.

@Se7en use Black Ops FF Explorer and open common_zombie.ff and common_zombie_patch.ff and extract that and whatever other files the error comes up with. Put these files into the mod clientscripts folder.

@Reuben OK Thank you so much! I just wanted to make sure since I am having so much fun playing Zombies with your mod. The only achievement I unlocked outside of your mod using the console command "/god" is all the weapons of the walls. I did all of Ascension legit. Maybe I can get my skills up to do the other maps solo and no commands with your mod. Cheers!

@bettencourt76, No worries, I didn't take it as criticism, I was just confused by what you meant in your initial comment.

Regarding achievement unlocks, I wouldn't be surprised if using console commands blocks achievement unlocks in Zombies, In previous builds of the mod myself and many others were able to unlock achievements without using console commands (I think ones that changed the fov and fps cap work however), there is an update to the mod that I need to finish but I'll make a note to check if the triggers for achievement unlocks fires (I don't think I messed with it).

@Reuben It's not criticism it's just a question. Your mod is amazing and helped me solo the first Easter Egg I tried. Your mod FAQs says that achievements aren't affected. In the base game I can unlock achievements while console commands are active. With me adding the addition of your mod, doing the easter eggs with console commands active (god), I didn't unlock any achievements. Was just wondering if this was common. By a process of elimination, it's my problem I'll deal with regardless since I am using console commands to make up for my skill level in Zombies. Hopefully by me elaborating, that explains how it's related to the mod, but not directed as a form of criticism. Thank you for your hard work on this excellent mod.

Did all of the achievements for Call of the Dead with Console commands but none of them popped. Is this common? I have used console commands to do achievements in zombies before and had them pop.
