First thing's first, we need to explain how It works.

The Item Drop System runs on the Steam Inventory, but although that's obvious.

And please keep this in mind... You have to be ACTIVELY playing to get Items, that even goes for the menu... and you have to be connected to a VAC secured server, Casual matches for example.

You can get at least 5 - 13 items every week,

You can get an Item at least every 30 minutes to 70 minutes average, once you get the amount of Items it decided you won't get anymore for that week.

Although, the number goes back to Zero every Thursday, once It's Thursday you'll be able to get 5 - 13 more Items for next week.

The Items can also vary depending on your accounts status on Team Fortress 2, Free to play's do get the same amount of Items but although smaller variety, meanwhile Premium Account's can get everything the System has to offer which will be shown ahead of the guide.

With this being said let's show what you can get!

Crates/Cosmetic Cases.




Cosmetic Cases are something you'll get every week most likely... Depending on the current date you'll get maybe two in one drop, for example... Summer 2023 dropped A Cosmetic and Warpaint case at the same time, Meanwhile Summer 2021 only gave you Cosmetic Cases. If the system decided to give you said Items... Of course, It's not a very exciting drop to most people of course since Free to Play's can get them as well.

You can also just get them by sitting on the menu long enough...

And another thing, Free to play's will not be able to trade or sell these to other players If gotten from the Item Drop System until they upgrade to Premium.

Weapon's

The most common drop for all, Weapons.

They can vary from all the base weapon's In the game, Worst Weapons and Best Weapons!

They can drop the bad weapon's like the Gas Passer and the best weapon's like the Bazaar Bargain.



They can also drop the average weapons that you'd see in game held by many players so don't worry about the System being pay to win.


Free to play's can't trade them If they get It from Item Drops until they upgrade to Premium.

Weapon Reskin's

It is also possible to get Weapon Reskin's! Some can be common like the normal Weapons like the Rainblower.




On the other hand, Stuff like the Conscientious Objector have a lower chance to drop...




Free to Play users can only get the Weapon Reskin's with the higher chances... they can't get the one's with lower chance. They have to upgrade to Premium If they wanna get a chance at the more rare Reskin's... otherwise it's a 0% chance for them.

Tool's and Usable Items are also obtainable! Ranging from Gift Items (Giftapult, Gift Wrap or Secret Saxton), Tags (Name or Description), Paint Buckets (Most of them... Some are excluded from the system, Like Pink as Hell and A Distinctive Lack of Hue.), and Dueling Mini-Games.

However like some the Reskin's, they happen to be pretty rare to get from the System.. Isn't an every week thing.
And Free to play's can't get them unless they upgrade to Premium.

Cosmetic's


Wouldn't be a good guide If I didn't mention what everyone would want from It.. Cosmetics!

Most rare chance of course, You can get Cosmetic's from the System! But you can only get hats that don't come from a crate series.

So for example, you can get stuff like the Towering Pillar of Hats... But you can't get stuff like the Blizzard Britches.

And of course... Free to play's can't get Cosmetic's, Premium Only drop.
