As of 05/08/2026 you can repeat farm this quest, it gives $2.5k for 5 - 10 mins worth of work, once you hand the items in then just speak to the guy and retake the quest every time you need money

Thank you! I actually stumbled upon the helmet after running around randomly, and thought that all of them would be equally as visible, turns out they were not xD
Tip: if you loose any of the items (like me dropping the helmet during a rabbit hunt and seeing it roll down the hill and disappear forever) abort the quest under the quest menu, and ask the farmer again 🌻

The way i did it was go in that general area and look at the blue dot. Get 244m from the blue dot. and walk straight left or right (depending on where you start), keeping the dot at 244m. look around you every few steps and you'll walk right over it.

i dropped the dagger by mistake in a multiplayer game. now we can't find it. what are we going to do now?

@langer84m Make sure you have accepted the quest, otherwise you'll be able to see the items, but not pick them up. If you do have the quest active, you might have to drop it in your quest menu and pick it up at mr. Rancher again. He's right across the lake from the dagger, the little dark green rectangle at the end of the road seen the top right of the map.

How so? Everything is there. Only thing is the helmet doesn't require you to go all the way to the top and cut across. You can just go directly E from the nearest road. It isn't an easy drive but it's a straight one.
