"Inspiring Kick" is a HUGE advantage, as it triggers with stomps and they give you a massive boost. But NEVER EVER just kick. My combo for most cases is: jump kick, stomp. If you're fighting a group, kick the ones standing up or hit them with blunt, then stomp one, and so on...
Nevertheless, good guide and thanks!
Rip and tear, UNTIL IT IS DONE!
Early into the game, Bladed weapons are your BFFs, so you basically want to pretend like as if Purna is a wannabe Doom Slayer; especially considering her Fury ability is basically "Aimbot Instakill" against anything that's not a certain Act II undead that charges you like a mad bull while wearing nothing but a padded straightjacket.
I wish I was kidding, though. Only time I've had trouble so far in my ongoing playthrough is the Quarantine with those seemingly infinite supply of sprinters.
