in this guide i will show you how to downgrade to awesomenauts 3.2.8 and be able to play online or offline

Downgrading to Awesomenauts 3.2.8
make sure you have installed the latest version before following the guide downgrade steps.

1. on the keyboard hit Start+R and a run dialogue will appear paste this command in it steam://nav/console



2 Copy & paste this command in the console and hit enter download_depot 204300 204301 8648355342919262350
It will start downloading with no progress indicator, wait until it says it's finished



3. when its done you will find it in your steam folder for example (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_204300\depot_204301) copy everything from inside the folder

4. Right click on Awesomenauts on the Steam Client and then click manage and then click browse local files then delete everything inside the game folder and paste the files you downloaded earlier

5. launch Awesomenauts Normally through steam

6. change the matchmaking region in the game settings to worldwide



that's all now you can enjoy Awesomenauts 3.2.8 with working online multiplayer.

Hello
atari removed the 3.2.8 from beta section
but i updated the guide and you can still go back to 3.2.8 with the new method
technically the original method but yea it's not hard

I assume there's no way to get these DLC characters at the moment then?

for Starstorm or Overdrive characters you will need to own the old expansions

Update: replaced old method with new much much easier method
