Introduction
The purpose of this guide is to help you achieve 100% completion in There Is No Light.

Key Points:
  • Number of missable achievements: 0*.
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 2.
  • 100% completion time: Around 20-25h.
  • Difficulty required for 100%: New game +.

Side quests Achievements
Key Points:
  • There are 15 side quests in total and you can start them throughout certain times the game. All are available after 3rd time advance.
  • When talking with the captain for the first time be careful to not tell him about the rebels in the Path of Pride, because they will be killed and you wont be able to finish the The Sarcophagus to unlock Champion Gabriel.
  • If you want to enjoy the lore you should visit central station after every time progress.
  • You can collect items in advance while exploring.
  • If you miss any side quest you can complete them after you kill the final boss. Press continue from the main menu and you can finish them for the true ending.
  • I suggest you check DannyDvs's guide for a detailed explanation of all side quests.

    Father's gift
    Find the wooden sword
    You can find it in Path of Pride.

    Colector
    Get the Bestiary
    Solve the puzzle with the fire altars in New Dawn to unlock the NPC. You must bring him 2 books.You will receive the first one as a reward from the Corelia (redhead girl) after you defeat a demon and the second one after the final boss fight in the Vault of Heaven.

    The scythe of a guard
    Find a scalpel
    You can find it in Vault of Heaven.

    Echoes of War
    Return the knife
    You can find it in Path of Pride.

    You can find it in Path of Laying.

    Star Eaters
    Defeat Skoll and Hati
    A NPC will ask you to bring him a vial of blood. You can find it in New Moon after a boss battle

    A NPC will ask you to bring him a lantern. You can find it in New Dawn after a boss battle

    Champion Gabriel
    Defeat Champion Gabriel
    After you finished The Sarcophagus quest and discovered New Moon,you can go to the headquarters of the Solar Corps and start this quest for the Champion Gabriel Achievement. Plant the location device, then talk to the NPC in the very center of New Moon and help them.

    Champion Uriel
    Defeat Champion Uriel
    After you discovered Spiritina, you can go to the headquarters of the Solar Corps and start this quest for the Champion Uriel Achievement. Before you start planting explosives, talk with the big spider and help her.

    Champion Raphael
    Defeat Champion Raphael
    After you discovered Lighthouse, you can go to the headquarters of the Solar Corps and start this quest for the Champion Raphael Achievement. Go directly to the Waters of Purification, talk with the leader and help them.

    There were two of them
    Return the medallion
    After you finish the champion quests the captain will ask you to retrieve his brother's locket. You will find in Path of Laying


    And you, Brutus
    Defeat the traitor
    During the Path of Laying, you will find a lady with a child. She will ask you to escort her 3 times during different places, and after that you will find the traitor boss. You can check the side quest guide for each step/location of the quest.

Miscellaneous
    Service fee
    Get through a karma door.
    You will find these while you progress through game.

    Cheese in mousetrap
    Get a karma medkit.
    After you die a few times to a boss, a mail box will spawn containing a health potion.

    The Disciple of Death
    Learn all the skills.

    Bye-bye
    Throw an enemy into pitfall.

    One more
    Remembering the old days at the bar.
    After you advance time a few times the restaurant will unlock in Central Station. Talk to the bartender and you will unlock this.

    Nightmares
    Get into bed.
    After you advance time a few times in the room before Central Station you will be able to interact with the bed.

    Dressing Faces
    You need to get a key from Abyss/New Moon and after you advance time you will be able to unlock a door for basement in Central Station infirmary.

    Good boy
    Get the most positive karma.
    Be nice/kind when you interact with people during conversation. It should come naturally.

    Tough guy
    Beat the game in new game plus mode.


Collectibles
    Friend of Spiders
    Collect all spider toys.

    Bookworm
    Collect all pages of the bestiary.
Secret/True Ending
    What's next?
    Get the secret/true ending.


To get the true ending you need to:
  • Max out karma.
  • You need to find 9 memories shards. You will receive them when you complete a side quest.
    1. Find the dress.
    2. Return the wooden sword.
    3. Find the scalpel.
    4. Find the knife.
    5. Return the dagger.
    6. Find the lantern.
    7. Find the vial.
    8. Return the ring.
    9. Return the Medallion.
  • Defeat the secret boss.

TLDR:
  • MAX KARMA.
  • COMPLETE ALL SIDE QUESTS.
  • DEFEAT SECRET BOSS.

Fetus is listed here as unmissable, but it is missable if you went for the true ending (What's next?) as both endings are mutually exclusive. While you do need 2 playthroughs for new game+, it should be mentioned that your second run needs to not be the true ending again, or you will miss that achievement since the requirement isn't listed. Would advise true ending first playthrough as enemies have more hp in new game+.

New game+ carries over your weapons and boss abilities, but you'll have to upgrade everything again.

If the woman you escort for "and you, Brutus" dies then you're out of luck for that run until you finish the game (you can then "continue" and npcs respawn for a second chance at it). She needs to survive to end up in the cage during the boss fight and the achievement will pop right after. So this one can be missed. The boss won't spawn unless the woman has been escorted.

I see that in your guide "and you brutus" is in the unmissable list. I'm here to tell you that I got the true ending and missed the achievement

I managed to find it through your video, thank you very much, it was right at the beginning of the water of purification before the save and after that part where it is blocked by a soldier and you have to go through the path of the messiah's followers
